Summary

The Clonmel Song Contest is in its fifth year. It is open to artists internationally and now hosts songfest.ie, the new Songwriters' Festival in Clonmel. The aim is to help promote original songs and music to the public and gain an appreciation for the great songwriting talent out there.



10 finalists will be chosen and asked to perform at the SongwriterÂ’s Festival at the White Memorial Theatre in Clonmel, Ireland. The final performances at this great, intimate venue will be recorded by Tipp FM.



From the 10 finalists, 3 winners will be selected and awarded prizes:

1st Prize: 2,500 euro + Trophy + Perpetual Trophy

2nd Prize: 1,000euro + Trophy

3rd Prize: 500 euro + Trophy



Please note: Songs submitted must be the work of the artist submitting. Songs must be under 4 minutes long.
