Summary

Break into the Canadian college and university market. Founded in 1982, the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA) is the only association dedicated purely to campus activities programming in Canada.

The COCA Regional Conference provides an excellent opportunity for colleges & universities, booking agencies and self-represented artists to gather together, network, showcase, exhibit and conduct business. Held November 2-4, 2006 in Hamilton, Ontario, this event is three days and nights of music, variety performers, comedians, networking, and educational sessions.

Delegates include programmers and event managers from colleges and universities from all across Ontario and Quebec. There are approximately 10 spots available for evening showcase performances for bands, 5 for comedians, 5 for singer songwriters and 3 for variety performers (with a focus on diversity). Performances will be held twice daily in 5 different venues in Hamilton. All genres are accepted.

Artists that are selected to showcase must become COCA associate members or be represented by a company that is. Associate membership and conference registration forms are available at the COCA Web site under Conferences – National Conference. In addition to the application fee, the showcase fee is $200 CAD + GST; COCA Membership Fee is $275 CAD + GST; and the Business Hall Booth Fee is $210 CAD.

Please note: If you have any questions about the fees paid to COCA for Membership or Booths, please direct them to the COCA Office at 519-690-0207 or by email through the Contact button on the web site. Sonicbids is not responsible for refunds associated with your COCA submission
