CODA Live Music Lounge

CODA is a combination music venue, lounge and bar in the Murray Hill section of Manhattan, at the corner of 34th Street and Madison Avenue. The space, which previously housed an old bank, is one of the most unique destinations in New York.

CODA is one of the premier small venues in the city and is a great place for shows, showcases and private events. When one walks in, one first notices the soaring twenty-foot ceilings, with two ten-foot in diameter brass chandeliers. There is also a thirty-foot bar area, but unlike other small venues in NYC, it feels like a mini-ballroom. Recent showcases and private events with Sony/BMG, Warner Music Group, and Universal have been hosted at CODA. All together CODA holds 300-400 people. With striking design, great location, a unique concept, and experienced management, CODA is one of the best performance spots in New York City.

We are looking to book local and touring bands with a good following in New York City to come play CODA. All artists will be compensated.

Well-known international, national, and regional artists have performed at CODA. Some examples include: Ari Hest, Brandi Carlile, Brazilian Girls, Bonerama, Cyndi Lauper, DJ Logic, Glenn Tillbrook (of Squeeze), Goldrush, Ivan Neville, Karsh Kale, moe, The Mooney Suzuki, Project/Object, Tea Leaf Green, Teitur, Voxtrot, Walter Wolfman Washington, and many others.
