Summary

Colby-Sawyer College is a small, private college located in rural New Hampshire. Due to their location, they strive to provide a great programming calendar to their students. Although the school's population is roughly 900 students, event attendance is often over 100 people.

They are now booking for their Fall and Spring semesters during the 2007/2008 academic year.

The Campus Activities Board is looking for a combination of coffeehouse performers, comedians, novelty acts, and other special events for both their Fall and Spring programming. They are interested in local, regional and national acts for various different performance opportunities:

  • Novelty and Special Weekends – Events that include coffeehouse performers, comedians and other special events.

  • Cultural and Educational Programs – These events feature lecturers and educational presenters as well as a diverse array of cultural programming.

  • Dances – Looking for DJs for their five campus dances throughout the year.

  • The Lodge – The lodge is an open space with a general seating area for about 75 people. There is an artist friendly sound system, but no lights or stage.

Compensation for performances ranges from $500 - $2,000 and depending on the situation, they may cover housing, meals and travel costs as well.
