Selected artists receive 20% royalty on their tracks sales, as well as a great deal of free publicity. Artists in this and other compilation projects who are in the Chicago area will have the opportunity to perform for a world-wide audience to support the marketing of the albums. There are 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists.

By tying together MOA's dynamic new Virtual Album format (see examples at musiconlinealive.com) with MSC's superior brand of Direct Trade Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, along with a database of 100+ million opt-in targeted emails, it is creating a campaign that actually sells both music and coffee. It is further backing this up with an all out social media campaign blitz. Note that an artist's relationship with MOA/MSC is completely non-exclusive (artists can still sell their music anywhere).

MusicOnlineAlive (MOA), formed by artist-entrepreneur Peter Saltzman in 2007, has built the first truly comprehensive open platform for presenting, experiencing and selling music on the web. The centerpiece of this platform is an Internet-based format called the Virtual Album, which is the real answer to the question, "What comes after the CD?" The Virtual Album is built from the ground up addresses the needs of high-value artists as well as the larger music industry. It integrates an innovative set of tools into a living, breathing product that encourages a high level of creativity on both the artistic and business fronts. It is scalable to allow multiple emerging technologies and revenue streams and offers the most engaging and compelling online musical experience to date for music fans.
