Copenhagen Songwriters Festival 2013

The Copenhagen Songwriters Festival, 'Celebrating Songwriters New & Known', focuses on original song craft, and features over 100 songwriters on three stages daily over a three day period in the vibrant cultural city of Copenhagen, along with workshops, late night scenes and additional lead up events.



Selected artists receive:

• 1800DKK (about $325) for performing.


• Inclusion on the 2012 Festival Promotional Media CD (distributed to dj's, booking agents, press and promoters throughout the US and Europe).


• Three day event passes for all shows and workshops.


• Food and drink tickets for day of performance.

The Copenhagen Songwriters Festival has become a primary gathering place for the Danish and Scandinavian songwriting community, with its' daily workshops, regional songwriter club presentations, showcases and nightly Open Stage and Late Night Scenes. The event was founded in 2009 by American songwriter/presenter Brett Perkins, who also produces the annual Listening Room International Songwriter Retreats in several countries.

Entries will be responded to within one month from submission date, with final selection made by July 1, 2013.
