Summary

The brainchild of musicians teamed with a sustainable farm land owner, Cosmic Campout, will take place on May 18, 19, and 20, 2012 in Clarington, Ontario. Cosmic Campout aims to create a new hub for emerging talent, and artisans, in a camping family friendly setting.

Compensation for the artists is very limited as the festival is in its first year and it is a fundraising event, but the event will provide great exposure. Artists are also encouraged to camp at the festival grounds, but there are also local hotels nearby. 10% of ticket sales from Cosmic Campout will go to support Org4Peace international projects.

Cosmic Campout is interested in booking Ontario-based artists from outside of the immediate region, coming from places such as Durham, Peterborough, Toronto, Belleville, etc. Genres such as jam band, soul, reggae, funk, world, children's, and ambient are all welcome...we want to have a little of something for everyone!
