Compensation:

When patrons pay at the door, they receive a ballot where each of the performers is listed. They select the band they like and deposit the ballot before they leave. The door is divided up between the bands by their percentage of ballots. Artists can also sell merchandise and retain all revenues.

The three showcase dates are:

  • April 7 Whiskey Roadhouse

  • April 28 Waiting Room

  • April TBA Firewater Grille

Full PA system, sound engineer and lights are provided at each showcase. Each artist set lasts approximately one hour. Bands should be based in the Omaha metro area and have a draw of at least 25 in the area. They are open to many genres, but bands and DJs should be able to perform well in a post-event, celebration setting. That typically works best with rock, funk and other bands that will get the dance floor moving and the crowd singing.
