American Songwriter Magazine and SNOCAP Present: The Craft of Music Vol. 2

American Songwriter Magazine and SNOCAP are conducting a contest for song placement on The Craft of Music Vol. 2 CD Compilation, to be distributed in the upcoming November/December 2007 Issue. There are two tracks on this CD reserved for Sonicbids entrants (one of which will be determined through online voting) to showcase undiscovered new talent alongside the best songwriters of “Then and Now.” Last year’s winner Billy Redfield was included on Vol.1 with artists such as Cat Power, Ray Lamontagne, Jenny Lewis, Pete Seeger, Neutral Milk Hotel, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Patsy Cline, Lead Belly, and M.Ward among others. Submissions are open to all genres of music and the two winners will also receive editorial coverage in the Nov/Dec 2007 issue and online.



There will be 30,000 copies of Vol. 2 manufactured by CRT Custom Products and inserted by Univenture, distributed to national and selected independent newsstands as well as to American Songwriter Magazine subscribers.
