Summary
Creative 22 Records is looking for unsigned artists and those on true indie labels for "The Best Indie Music of 2007." The compilation CD will be sent to A&R reps and other record companies that Creative 22 has relationships with.
The finished CD is expected to be completed before Nov. 1st. 2007. 1,000 CDs total will be manufactured and distributed, with selected artists receiving 10 copies each at no charge. Artists may request more at a discounted rate depending on the number of CDs ordered.
Original music of all genres is accepted, but Creative 22 is looking for songs that are marketable to radio with mass appeal.
Artists will not be compensated for the CD directly. However, they will benefit from their music being in the hands of A&R reps, record labels and fans of indie music. This could lead to major deals and a large increase in fan base.
There are 10 spots reserved for Sonicbids members on The Best Indie Music of 2007 CD. Current artists on Creative 22s roster include Gabrielle Louise (www.GabrielleLouise.com), Owen Plant (www.OwenPlant.com) and Jesse Thomas (www.JesseThomasMusic.com).
