Crescent Holiday Compilation

Crescent Music and Media is a commercial music publisher based out of the Charlotte, NC area. We are currently seeking material for a Holiday Compilation CD of original holiday music and classic (public domain) holiday songs. The goal of the Holiday Compilation CD is to collect dynamic and progressive holiday music of both the secular and religious backgrounds for commercial and promotional use. All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation and there are 4 slots on the Holiday Compilation CD reserved for Sonicbids artists! Submissions are open to a variety of genres such as rock, popular, folk, country, adult-contemporary, traditional, jazz and classical.



The Holiday Compilation CD will be distributed to Crescent Music Media clients, who will in turn distribute the compilation to their customers or consumers. The Compilation will be used as a promotion for corporate sponsorship and distribution. They will be offered through direct mail and in retail outlets. The sponsor will determine the final amount of CDs manufactured and method of distribution, however they plan to manufacture a minimum of 1,000 copies. Earnings will be determined by the price for the sponsorship, and artists are allowed a right of refusal once that amount is determined.



In addition selected artists will receive 10 copies of the compilation CD for their own use. Royalties will be paid after distribution. This is an excellent method of promotion, making you available to an audience that may never have been aware of your act.



This is Crescent Music Media’s first Compilation CD, but they have successfully distributed three artist albums under the Weasel Records label for wholesale, retail and electronic downloading. It is very important that all artists have the rights and authority to any music and recordings they submit.
