Summary

 It's that time of the year for local bands to come and play at Salzy's Bar. We're looking for awesome bands to play throughout the summer and early fall. With a dedicated local following, this is a great way to build your reputation in and play with other great bands.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to play at SALZY, a new a craft cocktail bar and performance venue, bringing the best in comedy, music and other live entertainment in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn.

 This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in town.

The Band

  • Looking for bands of all genres
  • Must have strong stage presence and know how to engage the crowd
  • ALL PERFORMERS AND GUESTS MUST BE 21+
  • If you’re asking us to book you a show at Salzy, please do not book another show in Brooklyn within 2 weeks on either side of your date
  • Please include the following if applicable: website/Facebook/Bandcamp/Soundcloud etc. link – list of previously played venues in NYC – brief description of your music & instrumentation


The Gig

  • COMPENSATION: All artists receive one drink ticket (worth $10). There is NO GUARANTEE of compensation, however, performers have two options: 1.) Artist may choose to charge a cover. Artist receives 70% of cover charge received, House receives 30%. 2.) If and only if Bar makes a minimum of $1500 in gross bar sales, Artist receives 5% of gross sales.
  • Full Backline and PA provided
  • Capacity 50-80

  • This is also a great opportunity for local up and coming acts to get more visibility. If you're looking to get involved with this show, meet other artists and gain new fans, this is the gig for you!
