Summary
Dangerous Parade, Malkin Music and St. James Gate will be presenting a series of showcase events over the weekend of February 23 to February 26. St. James gate in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island will be hosting artist performances as part of their commitment to promoting live original music. There are select paid showcase opportunities for artists interested in performing.
All genres are welcome to apply. Format can be solo, duo or band (please not that sound volumes must be adhered to). The event is sponsored by Dangerous Parade Music, Malkin Music and St. James Gate.
We will be programming at least 80% East Coast Canadian artists. An East Coast Artist is defined as:
1. A solo artist currently living in or born in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland OR
2. A band with at least 50% of its members currently living in or born in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island or Newfoundland.
The remaining programming is open to all other submissions. At least two showcase slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists.
