Phat Buddah productions will be presenting this year's Battle of the Bands and presenting the winning band with 5 free hours of studio time. This is a Sonicbids-exclusive event so only submissions made via the site will be considered.


They are looking for 3 to 5 bands to participate in the Battle of the Bands. Judging on event participation bands will be asked to play between 30 and 60 minutes. Bands will be judged on Stage presence, guest interaction, and overall sound. Bands will be playing outside in a large plaza. The park averages an attendance of 7,000+ people per day.


All genres are accepted; however Six Flags will screen all acts to ensure that they are family friendly. Six Flags is a major theme park company that offers the chance for local bands to come into the park on select days and perform their music. The Battle of the bands is an added element that they have had for two years running.
