Deadly Dreams Music 2009

Deadly Dreams is a music placement company that provides content to a variety of shows on MTV such as The Real World and Making the Band. They are looking for instrumental music that can be licensed for these and other TV opportunities.

In 2008, they were able to place Sonicbids members’ music on the following TV Shows: The Real World: Sydney (MTV), Making The Band 4 (MTV), RW/RR: Gauntlet III (MTV), Run's House (MTV), Bad Girls Club (Oxygen), Keeping Up With The Kardashians (E!), The Real World: Hollywood (MTV), RW/RR: The Island (MTV) and Daddy's Girls (MTV).

Selected artists for whom synch placements are obtained will be financially compensated for airplay through the Performing Rights Organization of choice (ASCAP, BMI, etc) and paid a royalty for any episodes that are rerun. As MTV constantly replays their shows, royalty income can add up quite quickly. Additionally, selected artists will automatically have their music shopped to a number of other TV and film licensing opportunities where appropriate.
