3rd Annual Decibel Festival

Decibel is a four-day, multiple venue, community music and arts festival exposing the Northwest to both the international and regional electronic music scene. Our goal is to educate and entertain through workshops, seminars, open discussion, interesting venues, excellent sound, riveting performances, interesting visuals, and a diverse selection of quality electronic music.



The 3rd Annual Decibel Festival will be taking place September 14-17, 2006 in Seattle's Capitol Hill District. More than 75 artists will perform on eight stages throughout the event, with several showcases dedicated to emerging performers and DJs. Genres accepted include: Electronica, Downtempo, Electro, Techno, Tech House, Experimental, Ambient and Electro Pop.



In 2005 Decibel drew over 7,000 attendees – and this year we plan to break the 10,000 person mark by adding more music showcases and activities.



Past Decibel highlights include: Richie Hawtin, Thomas Fehlmann, Isolee, Akufen, Autechre, Derrick May, Monolake, Fennesz, John Tejada, Marcus Nikolai, Michael Mayer, MachineDrum, Lusine, Deadbeat, Apparat, Kero, The Album Leaf, Styrofoam, Her Space Holiday, Circle Square, Pan American, The Advent, DJ Minx, Proem, Tipper, Sutekh, Portable, Richard Devine, Funkstorung and Phonecia.
