Summary

Over the past five years, the Seattle-based Decibel Festival has been committed to bridging the gap between technology and creativity through visual art, workshops, panel discussions and cutting-edge electronic music performance. Following the success and critical acclaim of the 2005 and 2006 festivals, Decibel will once again be assembling a diverse selection of international talent poised to stimulate both the mind and body. This year's festival will take place in Seattle, WA from September 20-23, 2007.

The festival hosts approximately 90 artists during the four day festival on five different stages. Last year, over 10,000 people came out to Decibel Festival!

Decibel does host emerging artists and is willing to cover travel costs if selected. Compensation is not provided, but there are artist goodie bags.

The festival predominantly focuses on various types of electronic music, including techno, house, electro, downtempo, experimental, hip hop, ambient, dub and electro pop.
