Instinct Entertainment - Degrassi: The Next Generation TV Series

Instinct Entertainment is searching for artists to be featured in Degrassi: The Next Generation TV series. Viewed in over 130 countries, the show is about the everyday trials, tribulations, highs and lows of being a teenager, and is approaching its 8th season.

Degrassi: The Next Generation will feature pop, singer/songwriter, rock, alt rock, and urban artists. Compensation is $300.00 CDN for background songs and $1,000.00 CDN for feature songs, plus royalty payments.

The music should match various situations pertaining to relationships, college parties, pub scenery, and emotional and dramatic moments in the characters' lives. Airings of DNG will begin in the Fall and Winter of 2008, dates are TBD.

Michael Perlmutter (instinct entertainment) has been a Music Supervisor for 11 years and worked on hundreds of hours of TV and many films. Highlights include: Queer As Folk (5 Seasons), Degrassi: The Next Generation (3 seasons) and The Best Years. Film highlights include Childstar, High Life, and Saint Ralph.

Michael has been asked to moderate/speak on panels at various conferences including MIDEM, NXNE, CMW, ECMA's, WMC and Billboard Dance Conference.
