St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit is a volunteer-based benevolent organization that produces the Highland Games. The event features a Ceilidh (pronounced Kay-Lee) on the Friday night before the games from 5 to 11 pm and the Highland Games on first Saturday of August from 9 am to 5 pm all at Historic Greenmead Park in Livonia near the intersection of Newburgh and Eight Mile roads.
