About the Festival:

Since its first edition in 2006, Día de la Música Heineken has incorporated the spirit of the European

Music Day, from which the festival was inspired. The main aim of the event is to promote young artists

and help them display their work. The greatest up and coming bands of the country’s independent scene

have participated in the Día de la Música Heineken Festival, many of them gaining a good reputation after playing at the event.

This philosophy has been the guideline for the event which has gained national notoriety and particularly in Madrid it has become the most important independent music festival of the Spanish capital.
