Summary

The Diaspora for Africa Benefit compilation is designed to fight global malnutrition and poverty by assisting credible and predominant micro organizations such as the Water Foundation Artists. Selected artists will be featured on the compilation and considered to perform at the annual Diaspora For Africa Benefit Concert Series, held in different locations around the world. There are 6-10 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists on the Volume 4 compilation./n/nThe Diaspora for Africa Benefit compilation series is the vision of producer/artist/activist Alain Nkossi Konda from the DR. Congo and his partner Jim Savitt. Alain who is currently a Goodwill Ambassador for the Munich based water foundation (www.wasserstiftung.de) also served as "CISRI-ISP Special Envoy for Germany", he was nominated at the United Nations by Secretary General Dr Manini for a 3 year mandate in 2006 Artists and supporters are encouraged to visit the Diaspora for Africa website for more information.

There are 6-10 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists on the Volume 4 compilation. All artists will receive a review as well, even if they are not selected. All selected artists will also be considered for the annual concert in conjunction with the compilation's release.

Artists selected to participate will be featured within the booklet of the benefit compilation album, mentioned on the official site and considered to perform at the annual Diaspora For Africa Benefit Concert Series, which is held in different locations around the world. The first 2 were held respectively at the lengendary TIVOLI concert hall in Copenhagen/ Denmark followed by SCHLACHTHOF in Munich/ Germany.

The project is designed to fight global malnutrition and poverty by assisting credible and predominant micro organizations such as the Water Foundation which guarantees that 100% of all donations are put to use for the implementation of their projects for the needy and not in administration costs.
