After June 5th, two bands will be given the chance to travel the world, with all expenses paid, to headline the Diesel:U:Music global tour. The opportunity is FREE for all submitting bands courtesy of Diesel, as a show of support to the independent music community.*

Starting in Berlin in July, the tour will stop by twelve cities around the world, including Paris, Madrid, London, Tokyo, Helsinki and New York; before ending in Miami in November.

The majority of performances will be headlining dedicated Diesel:U:Music parties at local clubs and venues, while 2-3 stops will be performance slots at some of the world's most marquee festivals.

All expenses and travel for this twelve city global tour are fully covered by Diesel, and there will be major promotional initiatives for all stops on the tour.

Two final bands will be selected by a renowned jury of independent artists, producers and journalists; handpicked from all bands signed up on the D:U:M website or submitting through Sonicbids before June 5th.

About U:Music: Established in 2001, the D:U:M prgram has helped a number of bands to secure record deals, gigs and major international promotion. Previous winners of U:Music promotions range from The Fiery Furnaces and We Are Scientists to Mylo and The Cool Kids. Last year's winners included O Fracas from Leeds, United Kingdom, whose members were flown to New York to kick off Diesel xXx parties alongside Franz Ferdinand M.I.A, Hot Chip, Chaka Khan and more.
