Summary

The Dirt Fest is an outdoor music festival held annually in the heart of Mid-Michigan, that celebrates a collaboration of MANY different styles of music. Metal, punk, alternative, emo, hip-hop, hardcore, grind, indie, pop, and much much more come together on multiple stages to showcase the progression of established favorites, while giving amazing up-and-comers a chance to make their mark! Dirt Fest 2006 will be held on Saturday August 19th at The Birch Run Expo Center in Birch Run, MI.

The festival features 30-60 artists – and this year, there is at least one slot reserved for a Sonicbids artist. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances.

Dirt Fest is more than just a music festival! Each year, we spice up the music by adding all kinds of added attractions, giving wide variety of art and culture to the life of the festival. Some festival attractions in the past have included Scooter Trash, an extreme motorcycle stunt team; Michigan Wrestling Organization; Art Show; and Skate Ramps featuring semi-pro skaters.
