Summary

Now in its eighth year, the DIY Music Festival takes place in Los Angeles on February 14-16, 2008. The festival is open to all styles and genres of music as long as itÂ’s created without assistance or funding from a multinational corporation.

This year, the DIY Music Festival offers two unique performance opportunities: a chance to play at a special lunchtime showcase for film/TV music supervisors and publishers, presented in conjunction with Bug Music; and to attend and perform at a special, invitation-only entertainment industry salon in the Hollywood Hills sponsored by the DIY Convention.

This is not one of those conferences where there are hundreds of bands that play to no one. The purpose of DIY showcases is to target people in the music indutry who will be interested in your music and are in a position to help you as an artist.
