Summary
The Port of South Whidbey will be hosting their 4th annual DockStock Music on the Pier, August 24th 26th, 2012. The harbormaster is looking for musical groups interested in being part of the entertainment line-up playing on Saturday August 25th, 2012.
Local artists from the Western Washington area are encouraged to apply. There are 4 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists who will all be compensated a small negotiable fee.
The main stage located undercover at the end of the pier will be surrounded by boats and docks full of spectators. Professional sound and lighting will be provided, as each group performs a 45 minute set.
The event draws boaters from all around the Puget Sound Region to the South Whidbey Harbor at Langley. This is a dock party to celebrate summer on the water, and includes a Crab Cook-off competition. Event Tee Shirts will be available with sponsors and band names to commemorate this annual party which ends with a Sunday Breakfast on the dock.
