The Art of Music Live presents THREE Wisconsin Concert location this season! Door County, Ladder House, and Peg Egan Center.

The Art of Music Concert Series will continue to provide over 40 shows per year for residents and The arts are such an important part of our community, not only providing entertainment but also bringing education and culture to all.

The Art of Music for the Performing Arts provides the perfect vehicle for both established and emerging artists to reach their audiences.

Since its birth in 2004, and its "rebirth" in 2007 as a not-for-profit organization, The Art of Music has featured the best of local, national and international folk, blues, jazz, country, alternative and world music while adapting to several transformations.

At the end of the 2007 summer season, the board of directors revised our mission and goals and The Art of Music began utilizing a variety of venues, providing the highest quality of international touring musicians for each event and seeking collaborations with many diverse groups.

2007-2008 marks The Art of Music "portable" season, and this latest incarnation allows for great opportunities. We are able to use some of the nicest facilities in the county as we match each original performance to the appropriate venue. We hope you will join us in supporting the independent artists and their originality as they continue to enrich our lives.

It is the mission of The Art of Music for the Performing Arts to enhance the cultural life of our community by providing the highest quality performances, and a diversity of the performing arts, visitors of Door County, Wisconsin.

Featuring 25 performances during the summer months, The Art of Music will also host 16 performances throughout the fall and winter through The Art of Music Winter Concert Series at the music room of the Ladder House in Sturgeon Bay. These performances include the Art of Music concert series, and providing artists for the following festivals: Fourth of July, Acoustic Festival, Harvest Festival, Fire & Ice Festival and the Groovin' Sisterhood Weekend provided by the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center.
