Dorje Music Remix Contest

The Dorje Music Remix Contest involves downloading various loops of Dorje's Music and creating a fresh remix of any style of music you like. Loops do not necessarily have to come from one song. The idea is to make a new song using loops from various Dorje tracks. Use as many or as few of the loops as you like. Winners will be selected by Dorje to have their track included on a CD to be released as a remix compilation through Prince Of Thieves Music.

Submissions must be electronic music, dance or beat oriented music and can be of any such style including but not limited to breakbeat, house, drum n bass, downtempo and so on; styles of hip hop will also be considered. To download the source files you must visit www.dorjemusic.com.


Remix files include vocals from a Dorje collaboration with Tara Slone – former lead singer for Joydrop (Tommyboy Records), currently launching her solo career on EMI Records, as well as trumpet from another collaboration with Bryden Baird – trumpet player on Esthero’s hit album “Breath From Another” (Sony/Work); plus much more.


Selected tracks will be released on Dorje’s upcoming album along side his remix of Michal The Girl’s song “Swivel It”. Michal The Girl has sang on numerous dance hits including "One Way Out" by Niels Van Gogh which hit #5 On The German Dance Charts and “The Autumn Leaves” by ATB which hit #11 and was the #1 Dance download on iTunes for many weeks.


A minimum of three tracks will be selected. 1st place will receive $150. 2nd place will receive $50. 1st and 2nd place winners will, to the best of our abilities, be Sonicbids submissions. All winners will receive 5 CDs when the album is released. All winners will receive appropriate credit wherever their track is used.


Dorje has composed music for award winning independent films and has had his music licensed for use on television and by various major corporations. As well, Dorje does audio production for m-Qube Inc. where he has produced the official ringtones for artists such as Madonna and Sting for their official websites as well as other audio production for other major clients.
