Summary

The Third Annual Down East Picnic will be held in lovely, tree shaded Muniac Park in rural New Brunswick on June 13 and 14, 2008. The Down East Picnic is currently seeking talented artists in Country, Folk, Americana, Bluegrass, and like genres to perform their original music on an outdoor stage to an appreciative audience.



All selected artists will be compensated ($100 for a solo artist, $150 for a band) for their performances and may keep all sales from merchandise. Food will also be provided for performers, in addition to free camping if you are traveling. This is a great opportunity to play your music in a beautiful, intimate setting and gain some exposure.

Performers from previous years include Fred Eaglesmith & The Flying Squirrels,Joe Gee, The Divorcees, Folds of Policy, Catherine MacLellan, Karen Palmer, Debbie Adshade, Dan Cunningham Band, Ross Neilsen, John Wort Hannam, The Flying Scotsman, The Steve Waylon Band, and The Reckless Sweethearts
