APPLY: Pirate Moon Productions (Music TV Show)

A year and a half in the making, Pirate Moon Productions has launched an episode-based music television series "The Place" with a set and performance space based in the Philadelphia area.

Pirate Moon is a production and broadcasting company that creates its own content. Shows and episodes will be distributed through several different portals in the quickly growing OTT (over-the-top-television) Video On Demand markets. We are currently working out of a 200+ stadium seating, intimate television studio/venue with an inspired professional crew, broadcast-quality, live, pre and post-production equipment, as well as state-of-the-art sound, lights, and backline.

This is an exceptional opportunity for talented artists with interesting backstories who tend to have higher-end social media followings. We look to create an innovative blend of a quality live performance with a very unique documentary-style landscape. Please note, this is an artist-driven, live-to-tape format  This is not a competition!

We finished our equipment install at the end of October 2018 and begun shooting several series pilots and our first Episode #1 Story Tellers. We will resume shooting live episodes in late Feb/March under the Pirate Moon Media brand. As of late January 2019, we currently have several artists booked for the upcoming shows, and looking for more to round out the 2019 calendar. The number of acts will depend on scheduling availability and flexibility.

• Solo to Full band.  We are looking for LIVE acts with instruments (Loopers welcome). Not looking for acts that primarily use backing tracks unless of course, it's incredible!
• Will work with ALL genres that have a compelling story to tell, fit into an intimate, focused environment and can command and energize an audience.
• Metal/HipHop/Rap would need to be more of an unplugged vibe, but we are very interested in crafting these elements into several of our episodes

• The show is typically 1-2 opening acts and a headliner
• Shot Live-to-Tape usually on Saturday evenings (7p doors 8p show). Headliners do a one hour extended set.
• All headlining artists are featured through a hybrid format including a pre-produced documentary-style interview that includes a creative segue into the live performance with 200+ in-studio audience. 
• In addition to the live-to-tape format, segments of shows can be Live-Streamed for promotional purposes
• All recorded content will be run by our post-production team to create a seamless, vibrant representation of each music performance and interview
• We began as an audio recording company and pride ourselves on making the content album worthy, but holding on to the energy of a live experience. The studio is a one-of-a-kind space and destined to become a “must play” destination for the rising stars!
