ABACA DVD Compilation

NOTE: This is not a CD compilation. This is a compilation of EPK's (DPK - DVD - trademarked by ABACA) featuring your music, videos, photo slideshow, reviews, tour itinerary, website urls and more!



Fact: A&R generally do not meet with, and/or accept unsolicited material by people they don't already know. ABACA is willing to act as your personal representative to A&R. This DVD series is hand distributed to carefully screened A&R VIP's from major and indie record labels, publishers, licensors, distributors and other talent buying A&R from around the world. ABACA has 17 years of exhibiting and/or participation experience at MIDEM and annually at Popkomm, SXSW, NMW, CMW and other record conferences domestically, and is very well known to international A&R.



Domestically, each DVD compilation is also filed in the ABACA Music Library with theirr partner in LA to submit to Music Supervisors working in TV/Film/Advertisement.



Prior to attending each foreign/domestic conference, ABACA researches the conference databases and contacts companies that handle the styles of music they are representing in order to determine if they are seeking new acts and music to sign. If yes, a meeting is scheduled.



During the meeting with A&R, ABACA will review each act's EPK represented on the "New Talent - Preferred Edition" DVD compilation. Any critique/responses (good or bad) will be written down and provided to the artist in a written report detailing who reviewed and/or received the music to take home for further consideration. Follow up is included upon ABACA’s return.



Space is limited. Some restrictions and time deadlines apply. Acts not owned by the ABACA label or publishing catalogues will be required to sign a non-exclusive representation agreement (under commission) to work their recordings over an 18 month period of time. ABACA does not ask for your copyright ownership. There are no hidden fees.
