PLAY: Drexler's (NYC) Fall

Looking for bands that reflect the prohibition, speakeasy aesthetic of Drexler's and bring a vintage vibe to this beautiful lounge in the east village, NYC. We're an Inventive cocktails served in a rustic-chic haunt with a zinc bar and a downstairs piano lounge. Drexler's is looking for bands to play throughout the fall.  

This is an opportunity to play in one of NYC's downtown's hottest and exclusive new speakeasy-style bars. This is a chance to play in front of an upscale clientele of young professionals and industry people. Drexler's is a lively bi-level cocktail bar offering refined libations, light fare, and live music in the East Village. If you're interested in playing our venue, apply and we'll send you availabilities that we think fit your band!

• Looking for blues, bluegrass/bluegrass rock & roll, NOLA funk, and brass style Jazz. Cover bands are welcome to join apply
• Bands must be accomplished and know how to work the crowd
• Bands must come dressed to impress
• Must be able to draw a crowd and play covers
  
• Bands must be actively playing shows 
• Bands must be willing to promote the show if chosen to play
• All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

• Currently looking to fill Wed/Thurs 9 p.m-12 a.m and Possibly Monday 8 p.m-11 p.m
• Set Length: (ex. 1 hour)
• Cost: (ex. Free event, no tickets)
• Pay is $200 Wednesdays, $250 Thursdays. Negotiable. Bar tab for the band too.
• Equipment: (ex. PA provided, backline not provided, artists need to bring amps and drum kit)
• Basic backline - every and all cable needed. Mics, mic stand. No drum kit provided - PA speakers provided, as well as mixing board if need be.
• Drummers generally need to play with brushes or understand that the vibe for these sets are for ambiance, rather than the focal point. Needs to be able to be flexible with both tempo and volume based on vibe and capacity of the bar.
