Durango Songwriter's Expo 2005

The Durango Songwriter's Expo (Santa Barbara Wine Country), held June 2-4, 2005 at The Rancho Santa Ynez, CA Marriott, is one of the nation's pre-eminent artist/songwriter events. Sonicbids and DSE are proud to provide one artist the chance to showcase and have their registration fee waived. All those who submit should think seriously about coming to The Expo even if they're not performing because this event is an unparalleled networking opportunity and in April 2004 two Expo attendees were signed to major deals.



The Expo, which combines workshops, panels, listening sessions and showcases, provides an intimate atmosphere with over 40 music industry pros and hit songwriters. Registration is limited to 200 attendees. It offers an unmatched networking opportunity for songwriters to interact with established songwriters to have their songs reviewed.



All artists, whether or not they have a showcase slot, will benefit from attending this prestigious songwriter's event. Every attendee gets three listening sessions in which they get their material heard by a top music industry pro. The best thing about The Expo is the relationships an attendee develops by being part of The Expo, with showcasing being just a part of it. In each of the last three years new artists have been signed to deals at The Expo and two #1 songs have been written by participating hit songwriters. Special guests include Lisa Loeb, Colin Hay, Jeffrey Steele, Hillary Lindsey, Marcus Hummon, Al Anderson, Marv Green, and special surprises.
