Musician's Friend Token Listing - Free Submission. The deadline is coming up to submit to The Edgewater GRalley, part of Chicago’s annual World Music Festival, celebrating the diverse community of Chicago’s north side. The event is a street festival that runs on September 17, 2011 and draws a crowd of over 2,500. They are seeking both local Chicago bands and touring artists in the genres of alternative, bluegrass, blues, children’s music, classic rock, country, folk, hip hop, rap, jam band, jazz, pop, reggae, rock, singer/songwriter, soul, urban/R&B, and world. Selected artists receive compensation, great exposure, and may sell merchandise./n/nPart of Chicago’s annual World Music Festival, The Edgewater GRalley celebrates the diverse community of Chicago’s north side. The event is a street festival that runs noon to 10PM, September 17th, 2011. They are seeking both local Chicago bands and touring artists in the genres of alternative, bluegrass, blues, children’s music, classic rock, country, folk, hip hop, rap, jam band, jazz, pop, reggae, rock, singer/songwriter, soul, urban/R&B, and world.


Selected artists receive:


  • Artists receive compensation

  • Artists may sell merchandise and may even be provided with staff to man tables

  • Full sound and lighting is provided


The Edgewater GRalley Festival is a family friendly event meant to celebrate the local community and sustain its members until next summer’s festival season. It has with 2 music stages, an artist's alley, beer gardens, food fare from local eateries, and a kid's pavilion. It has been running for 4 years and drew 2,500 people in 2010. The performance provides a lot of exposure for artists.
