The Electric Brew - Goshen, IN

The Electric Brew is a place for coffee and gathering in downtown Goshen, IN. It is looking for local, regional and touring artists to perform live at the cozy cafe that seats 50 people. The venue is a great spot for artists on their way to or from Chicago, IL or South Bend, IN and who are looking for a gig on the road. Artists will be compensated with tips (a $5 donation is recommended). The cafe accepts pop, acoustic, folk, singer/songwriter, blues, bluegrass, Americana, country, electronic and other eclectic genres, but is not accepting punk, screamo, metal or anything that would not suit the intimate venue. A PA system with 2 mics and some cables are provided by the promoter, but artists must bring their own instruments and gear.



The Electric Brew in downtown Goshen opened in April 1996 and has become one of the most popular destinations in town for the college crowd. In August of 2008, The Electric Brew began roasting its own coffee and in September, 2008, it was approved as a Fair Trade Certified coffee house. It provides great drinks, food and live music.
