Elon University- SUBlive (Fall 2008)

Elon University is a private university located in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, east of Greensboro and northwest of Raleigh/Durham. The University's Student Union Board host a weekly Saturday night event called SUBlive featuring programs and entertainment such as homegrown student events, music, and comedy. They are currently accepting submissions for the Fall 2008 semester, and typically book 3-5 acts per semester.



The school has several on campus venues for performances a lounge, performance hall, and bar. Elon works with a variety of performers, both solo artists and full bands, ranging from rock to soul. They like new artists that appeal to a college crowd who have energy and performance experience. Past performers include musical acts Florez, Chris Cauley, Jeremy Lister, Brenn, and Brandon Heath, as well as comedians Pete Holmes and Pete Lee, to name a few.



Artists will be compensated for their performances with a flat fee ranging $500-$2,000 inclusive of travel. Elon University also provides lodging and hospitality.
