Summary
The Place, an entertainment venue in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, is actively seeking musicians and performance artists for immediate openings for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. There are 100 seats available. Set lengths are 45-60 minutes.
Selected artists are booked at least two months prior to the date of the show. There is limited backline at the venue, which includes a sound system, vocal mics, monitors and an available sound person.
Genres accepted include: Rock, alternative rock, acoustic rock, pop, jazz, blues, alternative Country and reggae.
Selected artists will be compensated 50% of the door, hotel and meals for their performances. Travel expenses will not be covered.
San Miguel de Allende is located in the mountainous region of Central Mexico, in the state of Guanajuato. It is located about a 4 hour drive to Mexico City, 1 1/2 hour drive to Guanajuato, and about 2 1/2 hours from Leon.
