Summary
Empower Anniston is a non-profit, non-political organization committed to the vibrancy and sustainability of the City of Anniston, AL. They are pleased to announce their first ever compilation CD to help benefit the city. Money raised from the sale of the CD will go to benefit the public school system of the City of Anniston.
The compilation will be released in May, just in time for the Noble Street Festival, a top 10 event in the state of Alabama (located right here in Anniston). The event is a huge opportunity to gain increased momentum with the compilation CD.
The CD will be distributed in local CD stores and local businesses. It will also be available for sale on the Empower Anniston MySpace page, Facebook page, blog, Amazon and the official website. The CD will also be heavily promoted on the College Radio station in Anniston, AL.
Sponsors will include local businesses to be announced at a later date. No compensation will be provided to artists, however it is a great opportunity for exposure. Empower Anniston is looking to find a minimum of 10 Sonicbids artists to be featured on the compilation. Each artist selected will receive one free copy.
