Esongwriter.com International Song Writing Contest

The Esongwriter.com Songwriting Contest is a new international songwriting contest. Founded by a group of songwriters and entertainment legal professionals, this contest is unique in that Esongwriter is offering prizes and opportunities that will enhance the career of the independent songwriters and artists submitting. Its 2010 winners have reported having good results and great things happening already as a result of their contest participation./n/nThe Esongwriter.com Songwriting Contest is a new international songwriting contest. There are two contest division rounds each year: Adult ages 18 & up, and Youth ages 5-17. Each round consists of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners, Top 10 Winners & Honorable Mentions. 

Grand Prize Winner will be chosen from the 2 (1st) Place Winners from each division round.  Grand Prize Winner will receive representation by an established entertainment attorney and a music licensing and publishing deal.



Prizes:

The Top 3 Winners from each round will receive an Award Certificate, website widget announce your accomplishment,  private coaching consult, a music marketing ebook, Making Music Magazine and/or International Musician Magazine subscription and an interview from Strum Magazine.  



In addition, the Top 3 winners will receive one free 30 minute legal consult with an entertainment attorney, $25 of free music downloads from ITunes and a your song played and announced on the CJC Music Radio Network with a LIVE interview,  discounts on industry services and gear & possible licensing opportunities and more. It is a prize package worth over $1200.
 


The Remaining Top Ten Winners will receive an Award Certificate, website widget announce your accomplishment, music marketing ebook, your song played and announced on the CJC Music Radio Network, discounts on industry services and possible licensing opportunities.
 


Honorable Mention recipients will receive will receive an Award Certificate, website widget announce your accomplishment and a music marketing ebook. 
 


Acceptable Genres for Judging:

There are 27 genre categories that one can submit to including: Alternative, Acoustic, Blues, Ballads, Children’s, Classical, Comedy, Dance, Easy Listening, Electronic, Folk, Gospel, Holiday, Instrumental, Jazz, Latin, Metal, Patriotic, Pop, R&B, Rap, Reggae, Rock, Show Tunes, Spiritual, Trance, World



Esongwriter.com Songwriting Contest reserves the right to disqualify certain songs based on illicit content. Entries will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals. The judges will give each song ratings based on originality, melody, composition, lyrics and performance. As long as reliable contact information is provided, all entrants will receive a rated evaluation of their song.
