Eugene Marathon 2008

The 2nd Annual Eugene Marathon will take place in Eugene, Oregon this May. This is the Northwest's premier running event with over 12,000 people attending last years event, and an expected 20,000 this year.



They are currently looking for solo artists and bands, specifically in Oregon and the surrounding Northwest region, interested in performing along the course, or on one of the three stages including two spectator stages and one mainstage at the finish line. There will be 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists, and genres accepted include, but are not limited to, rock, pop, folk, alternative and americana. Compensation will be provided to select artists.



The event currently has sponsorship from many business including large corporations -- Fred Meyer, Nike, Wells Fargo, and Krusteaz with runners coming from around the nation to be apart of this event.
