Summary

European Urban Music Days is the largest event for urban music and culture in Europe. This year, it is being hosted in Stockholm, Sweden on July 1-4. It is meeting-place for artists, urban music lovers and professionals working with urban music, film and entertainment. The festival is the perfect occasion to showcase your music in front of industry representatives and media.

EU Music Days is guaranteeing to select 100 Sonicbids artists for the event.

Representatives from music companies, distributors, publishers, sponsorship agencies, promoters, film-makers and artists from all over Europe meet for four days of networking, deal making, market information, live music and parties. New techniques and topical issues will be brought up is workshops, seminars and conferences to encourage and support new developments and collaborations.

There are multiple stages for EU Music Days, including:



  • 2 stages at Kulturhuset, one of which focusing on emerging artists.
  • 1 large open-air stage: capacity 30,000.
  • Multiple clubs around Stockholm.

Genres accepted include urban music in its widest definition, meaning electro, house, hip/hop, soul, R&B, reggae, urban pop, etc.

EU-Music will take place in Stockholm on the same day as Sweden takes over the EU-chairmanship, so the world's attention will be on Stockholm. Media will follow the historical event that is the first of an annual series. On the last day, EU-Music Awards will reward the most outstanding European urban act and artists from all over Europe will perform. The show will be broadcasted in 130 countries.

EU Music Days is an opportunity for international promotion as industry representatives and media from all over Europe (including a TV-station that broadcasts in 130 countries). EU-Music regrets that budgets do not allow them to cover any fees, travel expenses or other costs. All selected artists will receive a pass for the EU-Music Summit, THE meeting-place for the urban industry. There you can meet with professionals from all over Europe - music labels , distributors, publishers, sponsorship agencies, promoters, film-makers, and others. Selected artists also receive 2 VIP-passes for EU-Music parties.

The goal of EU-Music is to create a platform for exchange and to develop the European urban music scene to promote it internationally. Europe has a great artistic capacity, but today most local scenes are not known outside their country. EU-Music is the forum to create bridges, new links and collaborations.
