Started in 2000, Evolve Festival has grown into a premier music and community experience. In 2007, nearly 2,700 attended the three-day festival. The music is spread over 5 stages, including a main stage and two electronica stages. Notable past performers include Michael Franti and Spearhead, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Medeski Martin & Wood, k-os, The Be Good Tanyas, Winter Sleep, and many more.

Evolve continues to try to be the greenest festival in Canada, by running some Bio-Diesel, Solar and Wind power, and deploying an extensive recycling and venue cleanup program. All print marketing is printed on 100% post consumer recycled paper with soy-based inks, but they mostly use the internet - which kills no trees at all.

Evolve is held on a rolling 225-acre site, with green grass and lots of trees, and a million dollar view of the Atlantic coastline. The Black Avon waterfalls are a short walk down the road, and it's only a ten minute drive to the beach. The sunset off the coast of Cape George will blow your mind.
