Summary

Wet Dog Promotions, an entertainment promotion company dedicated to helping charitable organizations in Phoenix, Arizona, is presenting the EVOLVE Singer/Songwriter Competition, benefiting AIDS Walk 2008.

The Top 10 finalists will play on the main stage at Rainbow Fest (October 4, 2008), one of the largest street festivals in Phoenix. Live feedback will be given, and the top 3 winners will be announced.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers:


  • 1st place: $1,000
  • 2nd place: $500
  • 3rd place: $200

A Monster guitar will be raffled off as well.

The top 10 finalists at Rainbow Fest will also get to play at two AIDS Walk 2008 fundraisers in September, these will be great opportunities for artists to promote themselves and sell merchandise. More info about these fundraisers can be found at www.wetdogpromo.com.


The Grand Prize winner will also be given the opportunity to play an opening slot at Phoenix Pride, a premiere festival in Arizona, with lodging included!



All genres are accepted.




Wet Dog Promotions started out with karaoke and DJ services, but soon expanded their services and relocated to Phoenix Arizona. Their focus is expanding the music scene in Arizona and raising funds and awareness for Arizona’s nonprofit organizations. Wet Dog now acts as entertainment coordinators for Arizona Rainbows Festival, Phoenix Pride, and Flagstaff Pride (www.flagstaffpride.org).
