The United Front Company (UFCo) is an underground artist community located in Revere, Massachusetts. It is a networking hot-spot where artists of all different genres work together to support, promote and expand each other’s work. They call it the Artist Jumpoff: It’s a place where rappers, rockers, DJ’s, producers, poets, publishers and photographers all mingle with each other. The network offers valuable connections and resources to community members which has been built up by the individual artist throughout the years.

The United Front Company is pleased to announce the 6th edition compilation CD of original music. Their goal is to showcase original music from the best emerging artists on Sonicbids. The CD will be promoted and distributed at the Artist Jumpoff in Revere, MA. In addition selected artists will receive 10 copies of the CD for their own use, royalties for copies sold and $3.00 for every CD sold afterward. This will be first compilation CD of 2009, but not the last. Submit a song and experience the United Front Company.

Submissions are open to a variety of genres including: Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Spoken Word, Club, World, Reggae, Singer/Songwriter, and Vocalist. All submissions will receive a review even if not selected for the compilation and there are 4 slots on the disc reserved for Sonicbids artists!

On a typical day at the UFCo you would find some of Boston’s most talented musicians recording tracks inside of The UFCo’s high quality recording studio. You would also find talented painters and sculptors who display their artwork in a gallery geared towards local art. There are unique fashion and gifts at the UFCo which are currently not available anywhere else in the area. On various nights throughout the month, The UFCo hosts Hip-Hop open mics, poetry readings, art shows, photo shoots, as well as mixed martial arts and dance classes. The UFCo also books and promotes shows for its artists over the East Coast and, on February 15, 2009, we will be leaving for our first cross-country National Tour.
