Summary

Enlightened Music is currently accepting submissions to fill Friday night openings at Fat Boy Bills in Milford, MA. Opening its doors on June 8, 2006 to a packed house, live blues and a pulsing dance floor, Fat Boy Bill’s Bar & Grill
was a dream realized by owner, Bill Laquidara. A blues fan for many years, Bill’s vision was to open a place where people could gather and enjoy live music, good food, meet people, dance your feet off and just enjoy.

The “room” is graced with an extraordinary sound system developed by Jeff Mason of MAS Productions and has been completely renovated under the direction
of the Fat Boy and Ron Pagnini. Oil paintings of blue’s musicians created by Milford artist, Antonella D’Aloia, are a must see. Featuring not only local musicians, but big name bands as well, James Montgomery, James Cotton, Commander Cody and Savoy Brown have all graced
the Fat Boy Bill's stage.

With a capacity over 200, this would be a great gig for any artist! They are accepting submissions for genres including funk, reggae, bluegrass, jam bands and blues bands.

Enlightened Music is attempting to fill two openings per week, which works out to be about eight bands each month. Bands that have local followings in Providence, Worchester and/or Boston are preferred. Bands looking to develop a local fan base will be considered.

Booking is finalized at least two months in advance of the performance. Each band will be compensated on a case by case basis with some combination of guarantee and/or percentage of door for their performance.
