Ferrum College - Spring Semester 2008

Ferrum College is a private college in Ferrum, Virginia that is looking for local, regional, and touring performers in many genres to come play on campus. We especially want to put interest in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.Ferrum is a member of NACA and holds several concerts throughout the academic year featuring various different genres. They look to create diverse concerts with their diverse population on campus, where 30% of the student population is minority. In general, they present up to 8 acts per semester, depending on student trends.



Ferrum College is now booking for their 2008 Spring Semester, and they are especially interested in Rock, Pop, Rap/Hip Hop, and Reggae artists located in VA, MD, NC, and TN. They would really like to put interest in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas.



They have a few popular places on campus to host events:

• The Panthers Den - Holds 200-300 people
  
  
• Sale Theater - Holds up to 500 people
  
  
• Fitness Center - Holds large events on campus, such as big name concerts, which can be set up to hold more than 1,000 people.

They will make the final decision on artist performance location depending on the criteria of the specific event. They are willing to negotiate prices, but are seeking small acts requiring up to $600. This does not include travel.
