Summary
Alive@Five is looking for artists to play their downtown summer festival. Artists will receive exposure to over 8,000 attendees.
The Opportunity
Local and regional artists support the national headliner each week, providing multiple opportunities for up-and-coming artists to share the bill with established and recognizable names.
Past Headliners Include: Shaggy, Ziggy Marley, Phillip Phillips, O.A.R., Andy Grammer, Michael Franti, Sugar Ray, Rachel Platten, Barenaked Ladies, Matisyahu, Smash Mouth, Third Eye Blind, MC Hammer, Vertical Horizon, Five for Fighting, , Boyz II Men, Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, The Beach Boys
The Band
Requirements:
-All band members must be 21+
-Original music only, no cover bands please
-Opening bands that have performed at Alive@Five in the past are not eligible to perform again
-Applicants must be available to perform on any or all of the following dates: June 28, July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2.
The Gig
-45-minute set
-PA and Engineer provided. Must provide own backline.
Additional Compensation Details:
-There is no monetary compensation for opening bands
-All proceeds from merchandise are retained by the artists (must supply personnel to staff the merchandise tent)
