FEST: 2020 Austin Area Jazz Festival Season

The Austin Jazz Festival (AAJF) has slots for up to Sonicbids bands (Jazz, Blues, R&B and Latin) to perform at their year-round events to include the annual festival, concerts and community events during the 2020 calendar year.

The Austin Area Jazz Festival (AAJF) is a celebration of music, culture, diversity, and the arts and provides opportunities to experience jazz throughout the year with music performances, cultural activities, and community events.

All AAJF events benefit the East Austin Music Academy,(EAMA) a program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas.  EAMA is a program designed to facilitate after school and summer music education and fine arts instruction for elementary students and performance opportunities, music business and music media training to middle school and high school students.

Selected acts will open for regional and national artists.

Ledisi, Will Downing, Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Rick Braun, Supergroup BWB, Lalah Hathaway, Jarrod Lawson, Anthony David, Eric Roberson, Tortilla Factory, Latasha Lee & The Black Ties, and Jackie Venson

• Open to local and regional jazz bands, artists, and musicians
• Must have family-friendly music

Details:

• Indoor/Outdoor Stage, depending on selected event
• 15-20 or 30-35 minute sets
• Sound equipment, production, and backline may be available 

Additional Compensation Details:

• Selected acts are compensated, which is determined at the time of booking
• May sell merch onsite
• Inclusion in official event press
