FEST: 3rd Annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival (LA)

The 3rd Annual Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival will take place at Riverfront Plaza in downtown Baton Rouge. The event is May 16 and May 17 from 10am to 8pm and is free to the public!  We'll be selecting four (4) Sonicbids bands to perform this year. 

The festival showcases live bands, with a concentration on Gospel, Christian, Soul and R&B. It also has a Vendor Village and a Food Court and a judged Soul Food Cooking Competition.

We offer each act 4 VIP tickets for you to use for media, family or friends. They include meal and drink tickets and access to the VIP tent. You will also get meal and drink tickets for your band, etc

Additionally, you will be able showcase your talents to an estimated audience of 2,000 and be included in our media coverage. However, we expect you to support us by posting this festival on your media sites, as well. For more info go to http://www.brsoulfoodfest.com.

• Looking for live bands with a concentration on Gospel, Christian, Soul and R&B
• Bands must be actively playing shows & be able to promote the event
• This is a family-friendly event, bands must be as well 

• Festival hours are 10am-8pm and is free to the public
• Bands have 30 minutes and track acts and duos have 15 to 20 minutes
• Backline gear includes a drum kit, bass and guitar amps, a PA system and 4 vocal mics. Additional equipment may be available upon request.
• Track acts can either bring a CD or plug into the sound system, smart phone users need to bring their cord
• A computer is not available, so no thumb drives
• You also keep 100% of any merchandise sold, however, we appreciate that you have someone to watch your table and collect the funds
