Summary
The Austin String Band Festival is a celebration of old-time and bluegrass music located just outside of Austin Texas. Our mission is to pass along traditional music to the next generation of enthusiastic musicians. This festival serves as an educational and informative resource for musicians to come together and learn and play with each other.
The Opportunity
The Austin String Band Festival is dedicated to traditional music. We present yearly music festivals highlighting the central Texas music community and featuring local, national, and international folk musicians. Our Festival features local traditional bands, jam sessions, and dances as well as youth workshops. We're looking for traditional music players and singers that want to perform and participate in this years festival.
The Band
We're looking for old-time, bluegrass music, Americana, Folk musicians, and singers. Beginner to professional musicians are all welcome. Ideally looking for local Texas musicians in and around the Austin area.
The Gig
The Austin String Band Festival is located in the Austin area located at Camp Ben McCulloch (right by the Salt Lick) in Driftwood. TX.
Festival includes camping, Jamming, Workshops, Food, and Drinks
Bands keep can sell their merch on-site
