Summary
On Saturday, September 28th the Austin Saengerrunde will be celebrating it's 7th Annual AustOberfest with Foodways Texas! Celebrating Central Texas German heritage with ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT sausage, bier tastings, contest stage, bowling & live music. We're currently looking for cover bands to participate in this year's festivities.
The Opportunity
Foodways Texas and the Austin
Saengerrunde would like this event to focus on our main mission: To preserve
Texas foodways, history and the legacy of our vendors! We're looking for local cover bands to provide a festive setlist of popular songs that keep the crowd moving and happy. This is a great opportunity to be apart of one of the coolest annual events in town.
The Band
We are looking for a cover band that plays a mix of Rock, Traditional and Folk
Bands must be actively playing shows
Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play
Bands are able to sell merch on-site
All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase
Acts must have a solid online presence
The Gig
PA is available
Acts may have to supply some backline that we don't have
Compensation:
- Bands will get a guarantee
- Bands keep 100% of their merch sales
- Bands get drink and food tickets
- Payment TBD upon booking
